Will Outbreak get swept into the Tornado?
Both the Tornadoes and Outbreak enter Week 2 searching for their first win of the season after coming up just short in their opening-night matchups.
The Tornadoes were led by captain Eric Naples, who filled the stat sheet with 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists while nearly carrying his team to victory. They'll be looking for more production from the rest of the lineup this week, particularly veteran shooter Travis Prowant, who was held to just 5 points in the opener, and big man Trey Thomas, who finished in single digits scoring but still made his presence felt with 10 rebounds.
The Outbreak may be 0-1, but the numbers suggest they're better than their record. Veteran guard Jason Schultz was outstanding in Week 1 with 18 points and 15 rebounds, while Ben Moest added 12 points and 9 rebounds. Kason Johnson chipped in a double-double of his own with 10 points and 11 rebounds as the Outbreak established themselves as one of the league's strongest rebounding teams.
With both teams desperate to avoid an 0-2 start, expect a hard-fought battle between two squads that believe they're better than what their records currently show.
